For your fundraising team

Why this package wins for nonprofits

Iceland Adventure taps into the dream that moves paddles: a chance to witness the Northern Lights, one of nature's rarest spectacles, paired with the otherworldly Blue Lagoon premium experience. This 5-night package for two captures what donors actually want to bid on — not a generic getaway, but a pilgrimage to one of Earth's most dramatic landscapes. The reserve is $3,995, which means your nonprofit covers nothing upfront. Every paddle bid above that goes straight to your mission. The package includes the Sand Hotel as home base, a Blue Lagoon day, and your choice of either a Whale Watching Boat Tour (May–August) or a Northern Lights Boat Tour (September–April), depending on season. Auctions thrive on packages with a clear "wow" moment, and Iceland's combination of geothermal wonder and celestial magic is exactly that. HGA handles all coordination; your job is to let donors dream.

For the winning bidder

The experience your winner walks into

Your winners arrive in Iceland and settle into the Sand Hotel for five nights, a reliable base for exploring the country's raw beauty. Early in the stay, they head to the Blue Lagoon, Iceland's signature geothermal experience — stepping into milky-blue mineral-rich waters surrounded by lava fields is a moment that justifies the trip alone. Depending on when they travel, they choose their adventure: if May through August, they board a Whale Watching Boat Tour to spot orcas, humpbacks, and minke whales in the North Atlantic. If September through April, they opt for the Northern Lights Boat Tour instead, heading out onto dark waters with zero light pollution for an unobstructed view of the aurora borealis dancing overhead. The remaining days allow time to explore Iceland's waterfalls, volcanic terrain, and geothermal hot springs at their own pace — or to simply return to the Blue Lagoon's warmth. Five nights at the Sand Hotel means two people have a genuine window into Iceland's scale and strangeness, not a rushed checklist.
